The Windsor Energy Group and Access for Women in Energy were grateful for the Arab Bankers Association for organizing the following energy scenarios meeting. Both groups are also grateful to the Arab British Chamber of Commerce for hosting the meeting. Details and photo’s can be found below.

The New Oil Market Realities: their economic and geopolitical impact, with a special focus on the Middle East.

The discussion focused on such themes as possible future scenarios for the oil market, the new geopolitical developments in the Middle East and what do they mean for future investment in the energy sector, particularly in the region and the impact of the oil price decline on the economies and finances of major oil producers. The seminar was introduced by Dr. Gavin Graham, Executive Vice President of Petrofac, and moderated by Dr. Carole Nakhle, Director of WIE. Speakers included Lord Howell of Guildford, Chairman of Crystol Energy Advisory Board, President of the UK Energy Industries Council, and Chair of the Windsor Energy Group, Dr. Paul Horsnell Head of Commodities  Research at Standard Chartered Plc and Mr. Wim Thomas Chief Energy Adviser for Shell International.
